Who WE are looking for:

We are looking for a highly skilled and accomplished Lead Shopify Frontend Developer to join our dynamic and expanding team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of Shopify-based frontend solutions for Bearaby.

YOU will:

Convert Figma designs into fully responsive web pages using native CSS and CSS custom properties.
Collaborate with backend developers to integrate UI components with APIs and databases.
Independently transform custom designs without relying on CSS frameworks.
Develop web applications adhering to best practices in web development.
Refine specifications and requirements based on technical needs and UX design.
Debug errors, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance as required.
Implement technical search engine optimization (SEO) strategies.
Write high-quality, scalable, and reusable code.
Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends.
Work closely with the digital growth and creative teams to incorporate engaging new features and designs into our online store.

YOU Have:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
Minimum of 4 years of experience developing modern, responsive, and cross-browser-compatible websites using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Proficiency in HTML5, including semantic HTML5 elements.
Familiarity with SEO principles.
Experience with build tools like Grunt, Gulp, or Webpack.
Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility testing.
At least 1 year of experience working in a team.
Thorough understanding of native CSS.
Proficient use of CSS custom properties (CSS variables).
Up-to-date knowledge of the latest CSS features and technologies.
Ability to effectively implement new CSS features for dynamic and modern designs.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Passion for sustainability and eco-friendliness.
